7:00 - 10:00 PM (doors open at 6:30)

Admission: $15 (children under 12 -- $10)

Tickets will be available at the event (at 6:30) but unavailable in advance of 10/13.

One of a series of concerts staged around the world for the fifth year honoring the life of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl, who was killed in Pakistan, Daniel Pearl World Music Days features Bay Area musicians remembering Pearl. From east to west and north to south, people on all continents and in dozens of countries will unite through music to stand up to the hatred and intolerance that took Daniel's life.

From the 580/80 Freeway, take the University Avenue exit and travel east (towards the UC Berkeley campus) to Shattuck Avenue. Turn right on Shattuck. Turn right on Addison.

From Highways 13 or 24, exit at Ashby and travel west on Ashby to Shattuck Avenue. Turn right on Shattuck, and follow the street into downtown Berkeley, near the UC campus.

The Jazzschool is near the University Avenue BART station, and can also be reached via the A/C Transit bus lines (#40, #43, #51, and #64 buses). Call A/C Transit (1.510.817.1717) for additional route, fare, and schedule information.
