Seattle native Arthur Pinchev, former director of Camp Alonim in Simi Valley, California, has been writing songs for the past 30 years. The pieces on this CD represent the first commercially available recording of his compositions. Each song features Arthur's singing and guitar playing. Producer/Keyboardist Michael Gill has crafted arrangements of the songs that feature fine work by top-tier studio musicians from the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, Portland, Seattle, and, on one track ("Drink to Life"), singers and percussionists from Nigeria and Ghana. Several of the musicians on the album have themselves enjoyed Arthur's music over the years. Others are new fans. | ||

"The 13 songs on this album are for me like entries in a journal describing moments in my life. Although I have had many opportunities over the years to share my music, I am especially excited to present these songs in this format. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do." Arthur Pinchev |
